Most people say they want peace.

They imagine a calmer mind, a slower life, a day that does not feel rushed or heavy. They believe that if stress disappeared, they would naturally settle into a more relaxed state. But when life actually becomes quieter, something unexpected often happens. The mind does not fully relax. The body does not immediately soften. Instead, there is a subtle pull back toward activity, toward tension, toward something that feels more familiar.
